Almost Human Games have released the first screenshot of Legend Of Grimrock 2, the sequel to their incredibly successful dungeon crawler. Compared to the dank oubliettes of the excellent original, that sunshine is practically bright enough to hurt my eyes.
A new blog post explains that Almost Human considered making the sequel a procedurally-generated roguelike or enormous open-world RPG, but apparently neither idea made it through the brainstorming stage. "We are really, really happy, relieved and excited that we have settled on a design that feels good and has that magical Grimrock feeling to it," the studio concluded, but for now we'll have to wait for more specifics.
Ahead of their upcoming presentation on February 5th, CD Project have released some details regarding to their new game engine for their upcoming titles. Named the REDengine 3, the folks at CD Projekt hope to “move gaming to a new level,” providing a first look at the graphical capabilities with a singular screenshot, which you can see above.

Wizarbox and Focus Home Interactive have unveiled some new screenshots of fantasy hack 'n' slash RPG R.A.W. - Realms of Ancient War - which is in development for PSN, XBLA and PC download. While the game is due in early 2012 on XBLA, these new screens provide a first look at the environments and the fearsome dangers that players will have to face all along their quest!

BioWare is set to reveal a new project at this year's VGA ceremony from a newly-christened internal studio. Naturally, our first instincts (or vain hope) were slanted towards a Jade Empire sequel, but a new leaked screenshot from Game Informer seems to put paid to that idea.
So, we're open to ideas. Vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic desert setting? Please tell me that this isn't Mass Effect Kartz. We'll know for sure after the VGAs air on December 10th.
