Grim Fandango Remastered on PC falls to £2.19

With the latest Steam sale knocking a massive 80% off the asking price, it means you can relive one of the genre's greatest titles for just over £2. Sure, its mechanics are somewhat dated, and some of its puzzles suffer from "developer logic", but its imaginative story, vibrant world, and unforgettable characters overshadow any grievance I could come up with. Thanks to FantasyDeals @ HUKD!

Counter-Strike Complete is an absolute bargain at £3.50

GAME are currently doing a sale on the Valve back catalogue to coincide with the Steam hardware finally being available. You can check out the full list here, but this one is worthy of a highlight of its own. Normally Counter-Strike: Global Offensive costs around £11.99, so to get it for £3.50, along with previous iterations like the original Counter-Strike and CS:Source is an absolute bargain. It remains one of the most popular team-based shooters around, so if you want to know what all the fuss is about - and die, repeatedly - this is a great and very cheap chance to do so. Cheers for Buzz for the heads-up!

Get South Park: The Stick of Truth on PC for £5.99

This deal for The Stick of Truth isn't the cheapest we've seen for the PC version, but it's certainly the best around right now. In fact, it beats the next best offer by around £4. As we point out in our review, Obsidian Entertainment have managed to create an enjoyable and authentic South Park experience thanks to the involvement of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. With a combat system that is surprisingly deeper than it appears, it would seem that The Stick Of Truth has ended up being worth the wait - despite the hilarious censorship issues. Thanks to FantasyDeals @ HUKD!

Ark: Survival Evolved on PC is once again on sale

The dino-based sandbox title has been getting rave reviews all over the shop, despite still being in early access. As such, the price has managed to stay pretty high, with the cheapest deals only reaching just above £15. As such, the latest Steam Midweek Madness deal is one to consider if you've been tempted to give Ark a go. With brand new snow biomes having just been added, now is certainly a great time to find an existing server to stomp around on, or make your own dino-riding paradise. Thanks to Webhead @ HUKD!

Get Life Is Strange on PC for just £12.79

Here's a fantastic opportunity to catch up with DONTNOD's super adventure series, with it being the cheapest price around for the season pass. Giving you access to all five episode - four of which have already been released - it means that you'll be ready for the season finale when it arrives in the near future. You can get up to speed by reading Brendan's reviews below, but I for one have really enjoyed the My So-Called Life / Donnie Darko mix that the series has presented so far, even with the excessive use of the word 'hella'. *shudders*

Be sure to check out reviews for Life is Strange Episode 1, Episode 2, Episode 3, and Episode 4 for more details.

Mortal Kombat X drops to £4.99 for a Steam key in the CDKeys daily deal

Consider Mortal Kombat X your first essential fighting game of the new generation of consoles. It's best enjoyed with local friends thanks to the easily memorised combos and buckets of gory X-Ray moves and finishers. The story and lengthy Tower options will pad out the single-player experience, but the online match ups are reserved for the more hardcore player. - Mortal Kombat X Review | Gore galore

Its Mortal Kombat X's lowest price yet and an absolute bargain when compared to its £34.99 Steam Store pricing. Remember to head over to the CDKeys Facebook page to grab that 5% discount code. It may only be a 26p voucher saving, but, a saving is a saving!

Civilization V - Game Of The Year Edition only £3.69 in the CDKeys daily deal

Be prepared to put “just one more turn” back into your vocabulary as the King of strategy games returns to its throne. Beautifully crafted and additively fun to play, its few minor flaws are overshadowed by the playability of its new simplified UI and gameplay in a sequel well worth the wait. - Sid Meier's Civilization V Review

£3.69 for the base game of Civilization V alone would be a crazy price, add to that the game of the year content and you are seriously getting a great amount of gaming for such little cost.

Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut only £1.40 for a Steam key

Q.U.B.E really is brilliant and a must have for any gamer. Honestly, regardless of your love for puzzle games I can't urge you enough to try Q.U.B.E. The game was originally released back in 2011 with a Director's Cut released just this year that added a new storyline and soundtrack to the game.

"Q.U.B.E. is unquestionably fun, it's simplistic and it's addictive. Unfortunately the addiction soon becomes Q.U.B.E.'s downfall as the increasing desire to have 'just one more go' soon turns Q.U.B.E. into a 4-5 hour game. Can its £7.99 price tag really be justified for that?" Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut Review | Thinking outside the box

Left 4 Dead cast join Zombie Army Trilogy, save 66% this weekend

The cast of characters for Zombie Army Trilogy has just been doubled in size, with all 8 playable characters from the Left 4 Dead series joining the roster. While the banter between them probably hasn't made the trip over (which is a shame, because Ellis) I suspect players will get a thrill out of scoring a slow-motion headshot with some of the genre's most iconic characters. To celebrate the collaboration between Rebellion and Valve, Steam are holding a weekend sale that knocks 66% off the price for both a single copy and the 4-pack. Considering how the game shines in co-op (especially with friends) I'd recommend finding 3 other zombie-slayers and sharing the carnage. Thanks to jaystan @ HUKD!
