Releasing short gameplay snippets on Vine has become very trendy these days, and Infinity Ward is the latest developer to jump on the bandwagon. A new short clip for Call Of Duty: Ghosts shows off some in-development footage ahead of its full reveal at the next-gen Xbox event tomorrow night.
Call Of Duty: Ghosts is described as a "brand new Call Of Duty experience," featuring a new storyline, characters and cross-generation engine. You can watch the spectacularly unhelpful reveal trailer here.

A new (and breathtakingly short) teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins pits the Caped Crusader against deadly assassin Deathstroke. Don't go in expecting any gameplay, but if you're hungry for a few seconds of slick CG brawling, we've BatEmbedded it after the break.
Batman: Arkham Origins is out on October 25th, developed by Warner Bros. Montreal.

The strange video, which shows a child merrily cycling in 1962 along before noticing something in the sky, contains a cleverly-hidden mention of "Apr 26th" and "2K" (look at the right-hand side of the screen from 0:15).
So, 1962. 2K. Strange happenings. This all points to 2K Marin's XCOM shooter, which may have been completely rebranded following the icy response to its initial reveal. Since its official site and YouTube videos were taken offline a few days ago, a Friday re-reveal is looking very likely indeed. UPDATE: now this is happening.

We have yet another game-to-film adaptation on the way, and this time it’s the Playstation duo of Ratchet & Clank that will be hitting the big screen. While this might cause alarm bells to ring at the possibility of the beloved characters being butchered (as is tradition for Hollywood) we can rest a little easier knowing that Insomniac will be involved throughout the films production, including the series’ lead writer T.J Fixman who has written the script for the film.
We have the teaser trailer, along with a few details, to check out after the jump.

The sinister figure staring out of a gloomy castle window appears to be Maleficent, the villain of the original who also featured in Sleeping Beauty and more recently, the Kingdom Hearts games. A rolling apple at the end of the video is also another hint as the player collected apples during the original game. The small copyright logo in the corner also says 1990, the same year the original was released.
We'd love to get our hands on a new Castle of Illusion game and it looks like we might in the summer. While you're at it Sega, feel free to give us a reboot of the co-op antics of World of Illusion too.

The Phantom Pain, a Fox Engine project from Moby Dick Studios (or: almost certainly an elaborate publicity stunt for something Metal Gear Solid related), has received another weird teaser.

To whet your appetite, Ubisoft sent over several new screenshots and a teaser trailer, which will be expanded into a full-length video next Thursday.

What are Namco Bandai up to? A teaser site with "btw" in its URL, and a moody picture of a motorbike accompanied by some rather contemplative words has got us all flustered.
As you can see in the image above, the text reads "The old days are sketched in his eyes, memories that have passed come and go in his heart.”
What on earth could this be for?
Thanks for the tip, James!

Ever since the announcement that the fine folks from CD Project Red would be taking a stab at the Cyberpunk universe (with collaboration from the creator of the pen & paper RPG Mike Pondsmith) we’ve been rather excited to learn more about the venture. As it stands, all we really know at the moment is that it will be an open world RPG, and there will be barely clothed cyborgs with giant bloody knife arms lurking within.
So, in preparation for a presentation event to be held on February 5th, CD Project has released a new trailer which also includes a hidden message from the team. We have both the trailer and the stealth communique for you to take a gander at after the jump.

We are six days away from seeing the unveiling (or repackaging) of Insomniac’s upcoming multiplatform title, formally known as Overstrike. Teased during Ted Price’s keynote speech at this year’s PAX, the newly titled Fuse will be shown to all via the official website next Wednesday. However, in a newsletter to fans of Insomniac Games, the Ratchet & Clank developers decided to tease us all with a video that comes “straight from the game, and teases the opening mission.” You can see it for yourself after the jump.

Sony and Lockwood Publishing have released a teaser trailer for Mercia; Fractured Realms, which is a free-to-play MMO that takes place within PlayStation Home. "Huge worlds" and "narrative depth" are apparently major parts of the game, which might well tempt a few nonplussed PS3 owners into sticking around on the somewhat under-featured social platform. More details are set to release during Gamescom 2012.

A short and somewhat bizarre live action teaser has surfaced for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which features fragmented footage of surgical experiments, interrogation and the tagline "Make It Right."
But what exactly is it teasing? Besides the game itself, the video suggests that a major reveal is set for April 30th - which could of course just be a larger live action trailer. Either way, we'll keep you posted on Konami/Platinum Games' upcoming insane action game.

BioWare is set to reveal a new project at this year's VGA ceremony from a newly-christened internal studio. Naturally, our first instincts (or vain hope) were slanted towards a Jade Empire sequel, but a new leaked screenshot from Game Informer seems to put paid to that idea.
So, we're open to ideas. Vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic desert setting? Please tell me that this isn't Mass Effect Kartz. We'll know for sure after the VGAs air on December 10th.
