A 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership hits a low £18.79

£18.79 is absolutely crazy for 12 months of Xbox's Live subscription, to put it in short its £1.56 per month. We're not going to see better than that anytime soon. Add to that the upcoming lineup for September's Game with Gold and its quite easy to see how much of a guaranteed winner Xbox owners are onto.

Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns only £4.37 on Xbox 360

Mapping numerous attacks to the face buttons is yet another departure from classic turn-based gameplay, but it seems to be giving the combat a slick feel and it may well offer more depth than the last two XIII games, which bored even the most dedicated fans to tears on the battlefield. When playing XIII-2 my PS3 died and I Iost my save file from the last boss stage of the game. Instead of the blind rage that I felt at losing my progress in my other games, it felt like a relief that I wouldn’t have to play XIII-2 anymore to be honest. Call me a glutton for more punishment and heartbreak, but I find -again- I’m willing to give the XIII series another chance. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Hands-On Preview

Get on the case with a pre-loved L.A. Noire for only £1.99

The Noir-based adventure Team Bondi has created may not be perfect, but it is a wonderful and dark experience that rises above the blemishes it exhibits. The investigations and interrogations are put to a well-crafted backdrop of 1940’s Los Angeles, and the MotionScan technology moves past that of a gimmick and helps reflect some fantastic performances by the cast. If you can get past some clunky control issues and slow pacing, you’re in for a real treat with this one. L.A. Noire Review | A Murder Most Entertaining?

L.A Noire is worth a purchase at £10.99, so £1.99 is a must have. It gives you the ability of progressing through the ranks as a 1940's L.A.P.D police officer, who wouldn't want to experience that?

Batman: Arkham Origins only £4.00 on Xbox 360

Stepping into Rocksteady’s shoes has proven to be difficult on the first attempt for WB Montreal, and with more time they might have been able to achieve the same levels of quality, but an enjoyable storyline and well-crafted set pieces rescues Origins amid an array of bugs and general lack of polish at launch. Fans of the Dark Knight’s adventures will enjoy the ride, but this is ultimately only a good game when, had it been given a bit more time, it could have been as great as it predecessors. Batman: Arkham Origins Review | Lost In The Knight

It's not the best Arkham game that was released in fact, it's probably the worst but at only £4.00 (£2.00 if you have the required Clubcard points) it's at least a catalogue booster.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare only £5.99 on Xbox 360

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is brilliant. Its Call of Duty done properly and an absolute steal at today's price in the CDKeys daily deal.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is a fun, fresh and friendly new take on the tired old multiplayer shooter. Newbies will enjoy a safe and relaxing environment to learn the ropes, while the superbly imbalanced classes provide surprising depth for more experienced players. PopCap's genre inexperience shows in the half-baked progression system and unsatisfying hit feedback, but their bumbling and charming personality ultimately wins out. Bag Dragon Age: Inquisition from as little as £16

We'd almost forgotten about Dragon Age: Inquisition given that all our attention as of late had been distracted by The Witcher 3 and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, but that doesn't stop us appreciating a bargain when we see one. Should you have already conquered TW3 or TESO you should definitely check out Dragon Age: Inquisition, especially at these great prices.

Forget the disappointments of the previous instalment – BioWare are back on top form with Dragon Age: Inquisition. With huge expansive locations to explore, a rich and detailed world to be immersed in, and a branching narrative that has the player make tough choices, it is not only one of the best RPGs of the year, but a strong last-minute contender for game of the year. - Dragon Age: Inquisition Review | BioWare’s Redemption

Battlefield: Hardline just £20 on PS3/X360 and only £24 on PS4 & Xbox OneIt’s not quite Battlefield 4, and let’s face it, I’m not sure anything could top Bad Company 2. Hardline is the latest instalment from EA in the Battlefield franchise, and at only £20 on last gen consoles and £24 for current consoles, four months after it’s release it’s going to be quite difficult to resist.

Battlefield 4 only £6.99 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

It hasn’t been a smooth launch for its multiplayer component, and the single player campaign still won’t win any awards, but the latest effort from DICE is certainly the best Battlefield experience we’ve seen for a quite a while. Thanks to a rather shiny Frostbite 3 engine, and an array of social features with Battlelog, Battlefield 4 on PC might well be one of the best multiplayer titles of the year. Battlefield 4 (PC) Review | Locked & Loaded

I think Carl hit the nail directly on the head with his review of Battlefield 4 back in November of 2013. Battlefield 4 is still one of the best Battlefield experiences we have had the pleasure of to date, but still, it's no Bad Company 2 is it? Which reminds me, EA. When can we expect Bad Company 3?

Well, you can't have one without the other. Yesterday we saw Max: The Curse of Brotherhood on the Xbox One for an extremely brilliant 95p. Now, it's time for the Xbox 360 version at only 79p!

Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood is a handsome and surprisingly sharp platform puzzler. Though stronger characters, storyline and controls could have made it truly special, it's still well worth exploring if you're looking for something fresh to play on your Xbox One. - Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood Xbox One Review | Surprisingly Sharpie

Resident Evil 6 only £1.95 on Xbox 360

It's not the best in the series admittedly, but it's not the worst game created either. At only £1.95 delivered on Xbox 360, it's definitely worth a punt.

Resident Evil 6 is a smart cooperative shooter with an extraordinary amount of raw content. Though environmental exploration and fear factor have been replaced by breathless intensity, the four campaigns, multiple modes and superbly fun multiplayer options grant it a huge amount of longevity.

However, some poorly-designed encounters, inappropriate QTEs and roller coaster linearity stops Capcom's sequel from stacking up with the best shooters already on the market. Great fun with friends, but you'll need to get your horror fix elsewhere. Resident Evil 6 Review | Rollicking Roller Coaster
