Zombie Army Trilogy down to £17.95 on PS4

The price of Zombie Army Trilogy has never been cheaper on PS4. Grab one from the clutches of the undead for just £17.95.

Here's a sample of Carl's review"Its level design may be repetitious, especially on solo play, and it may not innovate on the genre or the Sniper Elite franchise, but if you’re looking for some competitive co-op fun that prioritises non-stop action over narrative, Zombie Army Trilogy hits the mark, and then some."

Left 4 Dead cast join Zombie Army Trilogy, save 66% this weekend

The cast of characters for Zombie Army Trilogy has just been doubled in size, with all 8 playable characters from the Left 4 Dead series joining the roster. While the banter between them probably hasn't made the trip over (which is a shame, because Ellis) I suspect players will get a thrill out of scoring a slow-motion headshot with some of the genre's most iconic characters. To celebrate the collaboration between Rebellion and Valve, Steam are holding a weekend sale that knocks 66% off the price for both a single copy and the 4-pack. Considering how the game shines in co-op (especially with friends) I'd recommend finding 3 other zombie-slayers and sharing the carnage. Thanks to jaystan @ HUKD!

Zombie Army Trilogy Review | Intended for sharing

Those of you that have played the Nazi Zombie Army games will know what’s in store, but for those who have only just shambled in let’s get our summary on. In this alternate WWII timeline, the Allied victory is almost at hand when Hitler decides to activate “Plan Z” – unleashing a zombie apocalypse. It’s up to the last living souls left in Germany to fight their way through the endless hordes of undead, take out Zombie Hitler, and end the madness once and for all.

That’s pretty much all storytelling you’ll find in ZAT, although the new third campaign does its best to inject the odd bit of world building throughout. That said, the story was never going to be the focus of this game – killing zombies is – and in that regard developers Rebellion have clearly got it down. The weapons available feature enough variation in terms of weight and accuracy to suit most tastes, especially in regards to the bullet physics system in the game (which can be turned off when the easiest difficulty is selected.)

Zombie Army Trilogy on Xbox One is currently £22.75 to pre-order from Gameseek via Rakuten

Zombie Army Trilogy on PS4 is currently £21.99 to pre-order from Gameseek via Rakuten

With just over a week to go before its release, this is an absolute bargain of a pre-order price for Zombie Army Trilogy. By using the the voucher code MARGIFT5 it brings the console versions down to the lowest price we've seen. I rather enjoyed my recent hands-on session with ZAT, and called it an "essential purchase for co-op fans" with good reason. If you're looking for a game that promotes co-operative play whilst being competitive, I suggest you give it a whirl. Thanks to pauladam3954 @ HUKD!

Looking forward to Zombie Army Trilogy? Perhaps you want to brush up on your zombie killing skills ahead of the release next month? Well, here's a sneaky way of doing so while making a tidy saving. Gamersgate are currently doing a weekend sale on all things sniper related, which includes Nazi Zombie Army 1 and Nazi Zombie Army 2. You can grab both of them for a total of £5. Doing so will give you codes to redeem on Steam, which will in turn will reduce the pre-order price of Zombie Army Trilogy by 60%, making it a total spend of £17 overall. Considering how much fun I had with it with the recent hands-on event, I'd say it's a fantastic deal at £17 for a copy.

Zombie Army Trilogy Interview - Tim Jones on improvements, new characters, & taking down Zombie Hitler

After getting hands-on with Zombie Army Trilogy, Carl got the chance to speak to creative director Tim Jones (pictured above with our very own Toby the Dealspwny) to learn more about the upcoming co-op zombie shooting experience. Topics include the community's response to Sniper Elite 3, the improvements made for ZAT, the inclusion of new characters, and just how fiendish the new Horde mode will be to conquer. Oh, and Zombie Hitler. Obviously.

Zombie Army Trilogy Hands-on Impressions | Score Multiplier of the Dead

It shouldn’t be too surprising that the Nazi Zombie Army spin-offs for the Sniper Elite series have been rather popular. After all, pairing up the brilliant yet disgusting x-ray cam with 4-player co-op gameplay in which you slay the undead masses comes across as a sure fire recipe for success. So, with the creation of a third and final campaign – in which you’ll be taking out Zombie Hitler himself – developers Rebellion have decided to take all the graphical and gameplay improvements from Sniper Elite 3, apply them to their two previous campaigns, and release it all as Zombie Army Trilogy.

It’s a watershed moment for developers Rebellion, as they are self-publishing the release on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One for the first time. You could tell there was a sense of pride about it all as the team showed off the game to a crowd of press at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square, London, a venue famed for showing cult horror classics. Four of the developers gave us a live demonstration on the big screen, showing us a bit of the third campaign and the newly added Horde mode, but after that we were invited to get hands-on and see for ourselves why, regardless of if you’ve played it before, Zombie Army Trilogy will be an essential purchase for co-op fans.

To be totally honest with you, we have no idea if Zombie Army Trilogy is going to be worth playing. It's a remastered version of Sniper Elite's spinoff series, including Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1, 2 and the previously unreleased Zombie Army 3. Each got middling to mediocre reviews, but hey, it should at least be good for a laugh.
