It's pretty ancient by PSP standards now but Tekken: Dark Resurrection remains one of the best fighters on Sony's handheld console and at less than fiver, it's an absolute bargain.
Game's £4.99 deal beats the next best offer (£7.99 from PowerPlay Direct) by £3 and is the best price I have ever seen for the game.
Dark Resurrection is an update to Tekken 5, with the addition of Lili Rochefort who is trying to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu in order to solve her family's financial problems and Sergei Dragunov who, as part of Spetsnaz, aims to Armor King and Jin Kazama.
The game is packed with different modes to tackle and offers thirty different characters, each with their own story to blast through and a unique fighting style. Everything oozes quality and style and this is a very well built, robust game that offers loads of fun with little to frustrate. The AI is tough and there's a good difficulty curve. The art design is nice and the graphics were absolutely state of the art at the game's release and still look more than acceptable today. The sound is also excellent, with some great voice acting and a thoroughly decent audio track.
There's little to complain about here, with the only real annoyance being a hardware issue; trying to pull off moves perfectly on the d-pad can be frustrating and hit or miss. Heck, even the mini games are highly enjoyable!
