Telltale Acknowledge Walking Dead Save Game Bugs, "Taking It Seriously"

Well it's about time.

A number of folks, this writer included, have been somewhat irked that the save game functionality in The Walking Dead has proven itself to be temperamental at best, and horribly broken at its worst. And now, it seems, enough people have complained for Telltale to take note.

Corrupted save files, and even save file deletion in the case of some poor Seam gamers, have been rife. A peculiar bug on the Xbox 360 version of the game has forced players to sign out and then immediately sign back in again in the hopes of accessing the harddrive. Confusingly, the HDD/Cloud Save  pop up appears to have been removed from Episode 4 onwards, and it took numerous restarts for this writer to retrieve both eleven hour save files.

Some haven't  been so lucky.

Telltale say they're “definitely looking” into the matter, and  are “taking it seriously”.

In the meantime, why not check out our review of The Walking Dead: Episode 4.

At least TellTale are acknowledging this (finally) and saying they will fix it.
Unlike the broken save files of Assassin's Creed 2 that Ubisoft just plain refused to acknowledge.
