Continental separation be damned! MCV reports Tesco has broken the street date for Tomb Raider, with a number of stores across the country reportedly selling the game ahead of its launch tomorrow here in the UK.

We've also had reports in of a couple of consumers who received the game ahead of this morning, with the postman delivering Lara's latest adventure on Saturday as some online retailers began shipping the day before.

A word to the wise, though. Square are being a little jumpy about this game, and tethered our review code to our Gamertags to avoid the banhammer. It might be safe, but we'd advise playing offline until the worldwide release tomorrow if you've already got a legit copy.
