Tesco Break Street Date For Tomb Raider

Continental separation be damned! MCV reports Tesco has broken the street date for Tomb Raider, with a number of stores across the country reportedly selling the game ahead of its launch tomorrow here in the UK.

We've also had reports in of a couple of consumers who received the game ahead of this morning, with the postman delivering Lara's latest adventure on Saturday as some online retailers began shipping the day before.

A word to the wise, though. Square are being a little jumpy about this game, and tethered our review code to our Gamertags to avoid the banhammer. It might be safe, but we'd advise playing offline until the worldwide release tomorrow if you've already got a legit copy.

Thanks to steve_h, jezzy64, and BTL.

There are multiple online retailers that deliver early.
However it is a Tuesday release in the UK... I know it's still early but 1 day better than 4 :)

I thought tommorrow was the release in all territories? Just checked around and it seems Worldwide release is March 5th (Except Japan)
One of the rare cases where we technically get the game a few hours earlier than the U.S :)

Australia got the game early too back on Thursday and nobody got banned for it, so there shouldn't be a problem at all just keep your receipts just in case though.
