Test Drive Unlimited 2 may be Namco-Bandai's first ever UK number one title, but its launch was dogged by a host of rampant issues and glitches including unstable online play and corrupted save files. To make up for it, Eden have announced that the first premium DLC pack will be free after releasing a comprehensive patch.
Recent patches have fixed many of the aforementioned problems (including the woeful save file corruptions, exploits and login issues), and Namco Bandai will be working in conjunction with fan feedback to deliver more "upcoming" updates.

“The team spends a great deal of time looking at community feedback, so please keep posting your comments to the official TDU2 forums and we look forward to seeing you in Ibiza. - Eden via publisher Namco-Bandai
To thank everyone for their patience, Eden will be releasing the Exploration DLC Pack for free, which comes complete with the Lancia Stratos, 1969 Dodge Charger and “new wrecks to be discovered. Keep an eye on the marketplace.
