Titanfall Confirmed For March 2014 On PC, Xbox 360 & Xbox One

EA has confirmed that anticipated FPS Titanfall will release on March 14th 2014 in the UK, for both PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It will be available in both standard and collector's editions, the latter of which contains an 18-inch Titan statue for a whopping £249. It has battery-powered LED lighting, so, there's that.

Matt described Titanfall as "thrillingly, beautifully frenetic fun" in our hands-on preview - and I daresay that a few Xbox One consoles will change hands so long as it lives up to expectations. A new trailer, embedded above, contains a mix of both old and new footage spliced together with story details.

No chance of me buying the collectors edition (that price is ridiculous, but I'm not into game related statues, books, and hats etc. anyway) - but this game is looking fantastic.

Okay, so as I have not really be following this game, but am interested somewhat after seeing the video, is this game singleplayer or multiplayer only?

Google is my friend - Apparently not. That is dissapointing.

Everytime I see titanfall coverage, a little bit of wee comes out. Very excited.

@X10: Titanfall is indeed multiplayer-only, but Respawn are attempting to bring a strong storyline directly into the gameplay. 'Matches' are designed to feel like co-op missions with a storyline, deployment and then an epilogue where the losing side has to retreat or fulfil an extra objective rather than the game just ending. It's an ambitious idea that Brink never quite capitalised on, so I can't wait to see whether they pull it off.

Oh absolutely, but I'm just not into multiplayer anymore, I don't have time for it, waiting for people to come on, the right time of day to play, the randomness, the need for an internet connection.
Multiplayer is just not my cup of tea.
I'll be reading your review though when the game finally gets released.
