Developers looking for a great example of how to reboot a series should look no further than last year's Tomb Raider. Many say this is the best game in the series for years and it's hard to disagree. This reboot acts as a prequel, shipwrecking Lara on an island populated by nutters, but more importantly it's a huge landscape to explore. The story is excellent and there are lots of collectibles to discover when you're done in the fantastic end-game experience.
