Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition definitively defines this week's charts

It's hardly a surprise that last week's only major new retail release has shot straight to the top of the UK charts. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has romped to first place, and thoroughly deserved to by the looks of Brendan's 10/10 review.

If you're interested, 69% of all copies sold were on PS4, while "romped" might be a slightly relative term seeing as FIFA 14 was only 500 copies behind!

Elsewhere in the top 40, bugger all happened (that's the appropriate analytical term), beyond LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga making a re-entrance. It's also worth noting that no Xbox One exclusives remain in the top ten, with Forza 5 languishing down in 15th.

UK Charts: Week Ending 1st February, 2014 (previous chart position in parentheses, links to reviews where appropriate)

  1. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (new)
  2. FIFA 14 (1)
  3. Call Of Duty: Ghosts (2)
  4. Battlefield 4 (3)
  5. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (4)
  6. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (5)
  7. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (6)
  8. Grand Theft Auto V (8)
  9. Need For Speed: Rivals (9)
  10. Killzone: Shadow Fall (7)
