"Project Iron Wolf" Looking For Extra Staff
In a not-so-shocking piece of news, Black Ops developer Treyarch - whose CoD work, after the disappointing MW3, I look forward to most - are looking for additional staff to join their team as work on the ninth Call of Duty title, dubbed "Project Iron Wolf", ramps up ahead of next year's inevitable November release date.
Posted on their official site, Treyarch is looking for a gameplay combat designer who'll work under "the design director for the Call of Duty multiplayer team at Treyarch". Furthermore, Treyarch is also on the lookout for a new scripter to join their spectacle-addicted team, but he or she will have to pass a "design test utilizing Call of Duty mod tools". Interesting.
Treyarch, having proved themselves capable enough of carrying the Call of Duty crown from Infinity Ward after last year's excellent Black Ops edition, now take the reins of yet another Call of Duty title as the franchise edges ever closer to the ten-game mark. I was almost hoping, a little sadistically, that MW3 wouldn't quite be so successful, but it was. Can Treyarch once again provide their enormous fanbase with what they want while swaying the skeptical crowd, like myself, back? We'll just have to see. [Gamerzines]
