Hasbro and Majesco Entertainment have announced a new Kinect game that's based on the popular
drunk student groping aid party game Twister. This new project will apparently combine the colourful, expressive and cooperative gameplay of the original Twister board game and "updates it for the digital generation." it's described as a "light-hearted, fast-paced game" that supports up to eight players with three game main game modes, 16 variations and over 1800 shapes/positions to adopt.
Essentially you'll need to gracefully match the on-screen silhouette, knock down virtual blocks and cooperate to fill in thousands of different templates. It's a neat idea in theory, and one that will probably end up with me being disgraced on Youtube again. At least it will probably be better than We Dare.
Twister Mania is scheduled for a November 2011 launch as a physical retail release.
