Ubisoft Planning Ways To Woo PC Community
PC gamers! Ubisoft didn't mean to push you away with crappy Uplay itegration and awful DRM. They want to rekindle a loving, mutually beneficial relationship with you, to give you choice in the bedroom (or living room, or wherever you have your PC). They want to spice things up with variety and give you options.

Yep, Ubisoft want to woo the PC community, and after last year's hilarious comedy of errors, they kind of need to.

“Announcing all these partners for Uplay and a wider choice of PC games, it shows our commitment to PC, and we want to improve our relationship with the PC community,” Uplay director Stephanie Perotti told MCV.

“We are always seeking to improve. We took a lot of that feedback on board. With every game on PC we are improving. Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed III on PC were very high quality.”

Well, Far Cry 3 was certainly a cracker on PC. Not so sure about Assassin's Creed III, mind you. Nonetheless, Ubisoft say that they are committed to providing more choice for PC players.

“At Uplay we are also offering all Ubisoft titles, more console content and elements that gamers are more interested in. It’s about offering more options and more choice.”

Let's be frank, though. Uplay makes Origin look smooth as silk in comparison. Nerf the faffing, streamline your systems, and make Uplay a seamless, fast platform and then maybe we'll talk, Ubi.

I'm also still not interested in having 50 different clients running on my machine. Just let the already-set-up Steam rule the world.

Same as Quietus really, Steam works why would I want Uplay?

Also Uplay if you really want to WOO me back allow me the chance to merge all my U play accounts. I have so many, with different games on each, I want to bring the lot together in one account. Apparently whenever I email their support they tell me that it is impossible to do.. Why? it's your damn system, make it possible.

And thus due to Uplay, I didn't bother with Far Cry 3, nor any other Ubisoft games that have been out recently. They can get stuffed..
