He already broke the news that Ubisoft Montreal is hard at work on Far Cry 3, but now it appears Superannuation's sources have let slip that yet another shooter is in development at the French powerhouse publisher. Rainbow Six, the Tom Clancy tactical squad-shooter, is being rebooted by Ubi, presumably with an announcement due at E3.
Chirruping away on his Twitter, Super reveals yet another LinkedIn profile yielding inside knowledge, with Alexandre Mandryka's page revealing he helped Ubisoft analyze "one of our major AAA FPS brand for a reboot and established a creative vision that got validated by HQ". Some might think this refers to Far Cry 3, another shooter in development at Ubi, but I very much doubt they're rebooting a series whose last iteration came out less than two years ago.
