Ubisoft XBLA Sale brings major savings, includes Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger for £2.49

Ubisoft aren't messing about with this week's XBLA sale, which will last until next Tuesday. We're talking about some seriously big deals on seriously big games here, such as snagging Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger for less than £2.50 or Ghost Recon: Future Soldier for a fiver.

Special mention also needs to go to Scott Pilgrim vs The World, which is one of the only truly great film tie-ins ever made. Final Fight fans should buy it, love it and play it in local co-op for the full effect. Here's the list of links and prices:

Can't decide between call of juarez, scott pilgrim or cloudberry kingdom. I happen to have exactly £2.49 left over on my xbox account so I may as well get one of them.

Enjoyed the film but I didn't like the game of Scott Pilgrim, personally. I've never been a big fan of side-scrolling beat-em-ups so should've known it wasn't going to be my cup of tea, really!
(That expression makes no sense if, like me, you don't like tea.)

@Breadster: what are you in the mood for?

Scott Pilgrim: epic retro beat'em up action with gorgeous visuals, loads of levels, new features and amazing chiptune soundtrack. Superb unless, like Late, you don't like the genre.

Gunslinger: Proper wild west rompy rampage. Like the awesome climactic shootout from Open Range... but lasts several hours. Excellent production values and quality arcade mode. One of my surprise favourite downloadable games of the year.

Cloudberry: If you own both of those games, then think about getting this one :D Unless you really, really love the art of platforming.

Yeah I dunno really. I've not really seen much of Cloudberry, just thought it looked kinda cool.

I think I might go for Scott Pilgrim. I do like beat em ups and I like the sound of it having lots of levels. The main thing putting me off gunslinger is that I suspect I'd blast through it pretty quickly and it wouldn't have much replay value, plus there's no shortage of FPS' to be playing.

What's the difficulty like on Scott Pilgrim?

Scott Pilgrim is pretty tough (snarlingly retro-tough in places), but in a wholesome kind of way.

RE Gunslinger: I personally played it through twice, partly due to maxing out the upgrades, but mainly because I was having a blast. The arcade mode is insanely hectic.

Both fine choices really, but if you like local co-op and retro gaming, I'd recommend Scott Pilgrim. It's an absolute blast with a mate or three on the same screen.

Ok thanks for the help. Tough sounds good to me.
