New DLC for Empire: Total War out today
If you liked seeing longbows and bascinets traded for muskets and slightly effeminate hairdos in Empire: Total War, then you might be interested in acquiring the latest pack of DLC released by Creative Assembly. Available for download via Steam, Elite Units of the East adds 12 new unit types to the Ottoman and Maratha Confederacy.
These units vary from ‘fearsome brigands’ to ‘leaned warriors’ according to a brief description on Electronic Theatre. The pack also coincides with a current Empire: Total War deal going on Steam (for more information, see this deal written up by Neil), and overall, should tide Total War fans over until the release of Napoleon: TW on the 23rd of this month.
