I daresay that none of you will be surprised to know that Halo 4 is this week's top-seller, coming in as the 18th biggest UK launch ever. What you might find surprising, however, is that it failed to beat Halo 3 and Halo Reach's first week sales figures. Perhaps some fans have already finished the fight?
Assassin's Creed III is still riding high in second place. Sadly, we're not convinced that Ubisoft's richly-detailed but diffuse experience actually deserves to. You can find out why in Matt's 6/10 Assassin's Creed III review.
Elsewhere, the same old faces abound, with WWE 13, FM13 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted all doing well. Borderlands 2 has clawed back into contention from 19th to 8th, above the fiercely mediocre Medal Of Honor: Warfighter. That needs to go away already. As always, we've got the full UK top ten after the break.
