Silly season kicks off with a bang, with no fewer than four new games in the top  ten this week. Borderlands 2 rockets straight to number one, hotly followed by fellow newcomers F1 2012 and PES 2013. Previous incumbent Sleeping Dogs is down at #4, with another newbie - the excellent LittleBigPlanet Vita - coming in at 6th, the best perfermance from a Vita title since the consoel's launch.

Really looking forward to Sleeping Dogs, but it's one of those games that's dropping in price rapidly (and I imagine will continue to do so). Like Deus Ex HR, Duke Nukem, Portal 2, and countless others, if it's got short to medium single player campaign, not much replay appeal, and no multiplayer it's got a good chance of crashing in price shortly after release as hoards of people speed-complete it then quickly sell it on.

Awful for those involved in making the game - but great for those of us who are happy to wait a few months for a top title to drop in price from £35 to £15...
