UK Games Charts | 16th May 2011

Brink, the anticipated team-based FPS from Splash Damage and Bethesda Softworks, has secured the top spot this week thanks to incredibly strong Xbox 360 sales. However, to call its critical reception "mixed" would be an understatement of titanic proportions. Brink is turning into a truly marmite title - and we've decided to hold off on our review until we're sure we've got a handle on the experience. And its lag-busting patch.

Until then, folks, why not tell us (and your fellow readers) what you make of it in the comments!

Elsewhere in the charts, omnipresent fitness suite Zumba Fitness is leaping around like a trendy possessed hipster in position number three, with Telltale Games' LEGO Pirates Of The Carribean swashbuckling its way into second place. MX vs ATV Alive is the final new entry that has managed to hit the coveted tenth place - and the usual suspects of Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, Crysis 2, Black Ops and FIFA 11 are all squabbling over the rest of the table. Homefront, however, has finally dropped off of the charts - and Miyamoto's Steel Diver is still nowhere to be found.
