Aliens: Colonial Marines has predictably found its way to the top of this week's charts due to its fantastic gameplay, wonderful authenticity, brilliant set pieces, awesome flamethrower-equipped power loaders... wait, what? Sorry, I was confusing the finished product with the demo they showed me last year. You know, the one that bears absolutely no resemblance to the finished product in terms of graphics or gameplay. Expect a bug hunt, not a stand up fight, and don't engage without finding a hefty deal first.
EA are having a great time of it, what with Dead Space 3, FIFA 13 and NFS: Most Wanted bringing home the bacon, and the excellent Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed continues to do well for SEGA. Sadly, Ni No Kuni and DmC continue to plummet towards the sales abyss... are singleplayer-only games in trouble?
As always, we've got the official UK top ten after the break.
