This week shows that appalling working conditions and tiny budgets can still lead to big sellers, in that Metro: Last Light takes the crown. 4A Games must be thrilled, while consumers clearly don't mind that Ranger Mode is locked off as pre-order DLC. We'll have some video content for you this lunchtime.
Elsewhere, the poxy yet inconsistently fun Dead Island: Riptide takes a strong second place, while the equally mediocre Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates To Infinity romps into fourth. A newly-released retail version of The Walking Dead has also allowed Telltale's outstanding episodic series to enter the boxed charts, and well deserved too.
We've got the full shebang after the break.
