We're entering the calm before the storm, that pre-E3 doldrums where we're looking to the future rather than what's on store shelves right now, but a few new releases have still made a big impression. The home console version of Resident Evil: Revelations has managed to explode into first place, perhaps demonstrating that survival horror might not be such a niche market after all, while Donkey Kong Country Returns makes a solid debut in 5th place.
In fact, 3DS games have had a pretty good week. Luigi's Mansion 2 and Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins also managed to sneak onto top ten, though were predictably beaten by the likes of FIFA 13, Metro: Last Light and the stonkingly mediocre Dead Island: Riptide. Seriously, who's still buying it?
UKIE have also announced some exciting news: a brand new PC download chart that will augment figures going forward. We'll let you know when it starts to affect the weekly charts.
