It has been an interesting month for new games releases - especially when you consider that two third-person action titles from legendary developers (American McGee and the Suda/Mikami tag team extraordinaire) and innovative synesthesia playground Child Of Eden released in recent weeks... but you wouldn't know it by looking at the most recent UK Games charts. Shadows Of The Damned and Alice: Madness Returns have barely scratched the top thirty - and once again, Zumba Fitness is on top thanks to strong multiplatform sales and our dedication to gainful exercise (apparently).
LA Noire is enjoying a well-earned second place after receiving rave critical reviews, and the newly-released F.E.A.R. 3 has spooked the competition enough to romp up to third position. We'll have a review for you shortly. Elsewhere, Ocarina Of Time's 3DS port has secured a place in the top six (we rated that 9/10, by the way) and Duke Nukem Forever is still holding garnering significant interest despite lacklustre reviews. Top Spin 4 has surged forward 28 places thanks to, you know, that Wimbledon thing.
We're also glad to see Brink clinging to a place in the top ten. Though Splash Damage's debut FPS is deeply flawed, it also happens to be deeply fun - and as I said in our recent 7/10 console review, the addition of clan support and new DLC pack is going to completely change the face of the experience.
