Another week, another top spot for Modern Warfare 3. While many have chosen not to buy into this year's annualised blockbuster - and others have since moved on to pastures new - its great value and sheer brand power are still shifting a lot of copies. Ezio's latest adventure is still grappled onto second place despite it possibly being a rehash too far.
Elsewhere, little has changed save the arrival of WWE 2012 and Professor Layton: Spectre's Call.
Which is odd, because some major games have just released. Heartbreakingly, the exceptional platformer Rayman Origins has completely failed to chart in the top 40 (though it only released on Friday, admittedly) and sub-par hack & slasher LOTR: War In The North only limped into the finish at 38th. Maybe... just maybe... releasing in the middle of the retail killing fields wasn't actually a good idea for these smaller titles? Hate to say I told you so.
