Would you believe it, but LA Noire has claimed the top spot in the UK charts for the third week in a row. In a week of very few changes, Rockstar's terrific detective thriller resisted a renewed effort from LEGO: Pirates of the Carribean, which traded places with last week's second place entry, Codemasters' DIRT 3. Zumba Fitness retained four place, edging out fifth-placed Brink.
Wii Sports Resort held firm in sixth place, making it 98 straight weeks in the charts. Chart stalwarts, Call of Duty Black Ops, FIFA 11 and Portal 2, occupied seventh, eight and ninth place respectively. Topping off the charts was Sims 3: Generations, a new entry in the charts. Sadly, fellow new release, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, could not break into the top ten, settling for fourteenth place on its first week of release.
