Stats time! Call Of Duty: Ghosts is the third-biggest UK launch of 2013, behind GTA V and FIFA 14. 62% of copies were sold on Xbox 360, 34% on PS3 and 3% on PS4. PC and Wii U only represented less than 1% of total copies sold, though PC downloads still aren't being fully factored into the figures. I personally felt that the current-gen version lacks both players and features, leading to it being a fairly hard sell on both platforms in my opinion, but it appears that the franchise is bulletproof as far as reviews go. Brendan really enjoyed the campaign, by the way.
The PS4 version has pulled off a spectacular coup, especially since its console won't release until the end of the month here in Britain. It managed to outsell Assassin’s Creed IV and Battlefield 4 on the PS3. That's quite something.
Speaking of Battlefield 4, DICE's shooter retains an impressive second place, leapfrogging Assassin's Creed IV. A protest vote, perhaps?
