The next console generation starts this Friday in Europe, but frankly, it looks like us Brits are perfectly happy to play with LEGO instead. And quite right too. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has smashed into second place (not quite unseating Call Of Duty: Ghosts) on account of it appealing to absolutely everyone. It's also really rather brilliant, as I'll explain in our full review at 17:00. I'm the Juggernaut, bricks.
Elsewhere the same old faces jockey for position, though Professor Layton has gracefully tipped his hat askance in tenth place. XCOM: Enemy Within has entered the charts in 25th, which is to be expected since many players will favour the PC download option. And, erm, it probably should have released in summer in a perfect world.
What are the charts going to look like next Monday once the Xbox One has finally released? Ghosts will probably retain its top spot, we shouldn't wonder, but can the likes of Forza 5, Ryse and Dead Rising 3 get in on the action? Your guess is as good as mine [so why do we employ you, Jon? - Ed].
