Forza 4 In Pole Position
FIFA 12's reign atop the UK Charts has been put to the sword by Forza Motorsport 4 this week, with Microsoft's Kinect-ified racer screeching in at first place. It's the biggest launch for a racer on the Xbox 360, although FIFA 12's 62% drop in sales probably helped secure Forza first place. Despite plummeting sales, FIFA 12 still clung on in second place, just above new entry Just Dance 3. id Software's RAGE continues to slide respectably down the charts, now residing in fourth, with Konami's PES 2012 in at fifth.
Gears of War 3 is on its way out of the top ten, dropping down to sixth place, sitting just above the sadomasochistic delights of Dark Souls. Zumba, F1 2011 and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge round out the rest of the top ten. With the likes of Arkham City, Battlefield 3 and - of course - the behemoth that is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on the very near horizon, the shape of the charts landscape to come is pretty obvious.
