Once again players take on the role of intrepid treasure hunter Nathan Drake, this time as he seeks to uncover the mystery of Marco Polo’s final doomed voyage home from China, in this perfectly paced third person action-adventure.

Among Thieves has received lavish praise all round for its pristine graphics, fantastic, varied combat, hugely enjoyable exploration and acrobatics, the aforementioned excellent pacing and excellent multiplayer options.

Even the opening tutorial is breathtaking and a real sight to behold, and from there on out, the action barely lets up for a moment. It’s not a huge departure from Drake’s previous adventure but everything has been polished, tweaked and fine tuned beautifully, making this a better game in every way. Sure the cover system can let you down occasionally and sometimes the rules as to what you can and can’t climb can seem totally random at times but there is so much here to enjoy that’s it’s hard to get sniffy about a few minor details.
