Unreal Engine 4 Demoed On PC & PS4

Infiltrator & Elemental

Epic Games have released two tech demos of Unreal Engine 4 doing its shiny business, both on PC and PS4. Both real-time videos demonstrate the new high-end rendering features and tools that will doubtlessly play a key role in numerous next-gen multiplatform games over the coming years. Check it out below.

'Infiltrator' | PC

Real time, Core i7 CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 GPU, 16GB of DDR3 RAM.

'Elemental' | PS4

Video courtesy of Digital Foundry.

As reported earlier, Unreal Engine 4 will be too powerful for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, though Unreal Engine 3 is becoming infinitely more scaleable with a new mobile SDK.

Okay, nice set pieces, now lets see some first person in-game footage for actual real-world representation.

That PC video was pretty epic. Would be interested to see that develop into a full game rather than just remain a tech demo. *sigh* I know, it won't happen.
