Great news, folks! Uplay, Ubisoft's platform for digital rights management and interconnected Ubi-oriented achievements and rewards, has been confirmed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!
According to Eurogamer, Ubisoft have said users will "benefit from Uplay services and features using one unique profile" when the PS4 and Xbox One go on sale this November.
Ubisoft haven't gone into huge detail about exactly how Uplay will integrate with the next-gen consoles, but we'd imagine it to continue the status quo of providing social feedback and giving players the opportunity to purchase things in-game with Uplay points that have been earned by completing challenges.
The PC Uplay client will apparently be updated to 4.0 next month, with the new version adding a social wall and download manager.
