Valve Bring A Little Bit Of Portal To Skyrim

Nolan North’s World Domination Continues

In a move of genius, Valve have demonstrated the power of both the newly launched Skyrim Creation Kit and its user-created content library the Steam Workshop by creating a mod that adds the over-excited “Spaaaaaaaaace!” AI core from Portal 2 into the northern lands of Tamriel.

Not only does “Fall of the Space Core, Vol.1” provide an official franchise crossover we thought would never be possible, but as it explains in the mod description text, it remedies a problem all gamers have had to put up with since Skyrim was released last November.

Also, since Skyrim was the only major release of 2011 without Nolan North in it, you should consider this mod a patch to fix that problem. You can now feel free to include Skyrim in the "Nolan North" section of your video game library, which is to say, your video game library.

The “Vol. 1” part of the title suggest more are on the way, or it may well prove to be yet another cruel joke by Valve. Because they can. You can find the mod in all its glory over at the Steam Workshop. Additionally, you can now download the High Resolution Texture Pack on Steam as well. Be sure to check that your rig exceeds the specifications before installing the free DLC though, or you could end causing the game performance to plummet significantly.
