Creator of Morrowind and Oblivion, not to mention the lead designer on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reconing, Ken Rolston has moved on to patures new having been snapped up by MMO specialists Turbine.
“Ken will lead the vision and the implementation of all aspects of game design for Turbine,” the developers announced.
The studio, notable for Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online, announced their impressive new hire alongside a couple of other names.
Alan Villani will join the company as vice president of technology, having previously fulfilled the same role a Netherrealm Studios. Ex-Zynga staffer Jai Singh will ake on the role of executive director of technical operations, responsible for “managing all online operations hosting and computing infrastructure,” alongside further network operations and tech support. And finally, Petroglyph Games' veteran Demetrius Comes will join Turbine as executive director of engineering, bring two decades' experience with him.
