VIDEO: Major Nelson Shows Off Forza 4 Head-Tracking

Pinched from Inside Xbox, the latest video of Forza 4 shows Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb demonstrating the integrated head-tracking feature that makes use of Kinect. Forza 4 will be at E3 this year, and we'll try our best to snaffle a closer look at what Turn 10 have been up to next week.

Seems inherently problematic: you want to see something near the right edge of the screen, so you move your head to look at it (which the kinect then picks up) then the in-game camera moves to look at it too, which is then no-longer where your head is looking anymore, so you move your head to the left to see it properly, then kinect moves the camera again ... ad infinitum - you'll always be chasing where you want to look, let alone the fact that no-one moves their head when playing a racing game - now if this was eye-tracking, then I'd be impressed

I'm loving that M$ use cable ties for fixing the pedals down with. Such an innovative solution!

I'd of thought it will treat the view as an offset of the center position. As in...looking x amount of degrees to the right is synonymous with moving the right stick that amount of degrees. As your head moves back to the center position, so does the view. I wouldn't imagine it'll recognise a left or right head position as a cue to continue scrolling in that direction.
