Viva Pinata: Party Animals £4.85 @ Shopto [Xbox 360 Games]

With surreal characters, quirky mini-games and hilarious soundtrack, Viva Piñata: Party Animals could make an entertaining addition to your Xbox 360 game collection. Currently the game is being offered for £4.85 from Shopto.net which is almost half the price of the next best offer of £8.73 from the Hut.

However do be warned, this is not a game for everyone. And if you’re the sort of gamer who likes nothing more than running around blowing people's heads off in games like Fallout 3 then this might not be for you. Viva Piñata: Party Animals offers players a light hearted assortment of various multi-player mini-games and races. Players can partake in tournaments ranging from short, medium to long, with around six core mini-game formats.

In terms of graphics, dialogue and soundtrack the game is appealing. But unfortunately when it comes to gameplay, the whole thing falls into total mediocrity. In essence, Viva Piñata: Party Animals attempts - with limited success - to recycle the best bits of its more accomplished predecessor. But what results is a game which is by no means as diverse or entertaining. The challenges are simply not challenging, there is little variety, and clearly this is a game aimed at a very youthful market.Viva Pinata: Party Animals £4.85 @ Shopto [Xbox 360 Games]

But even with that said, according to the IGN review, Viva Piñata: Party Animals isn’t even dynamic enough to occupy a bright toddler for more than hour. However if you find yourself tired of all that GTA killing and oversaturated with bloodshed, Viva Piñata: Party Animals is a game which could be perfect for a some light relief!

Definitely the type of game for 'video game lovers', it doesn't say much for the site
