Bastion Narrator Stars As Robot
Do you like the idea of a lavish cyberpunk point & click adventure starring Bastion narrator Logan Cunningham as a mysterious robot? Of course you do. Don't worry, I'm not just randomly getting your hopes up, because this is actually happening courtesy of the ever-reliable Wadjet Eye Games. The publishers behind Gemini Rue, Blackwell, Resonance and Da New Boys are working with Wormwood Studios, who promises to prioritise 'logical thinking over trial and error.'
Details and trailer below.
According to the official site, Primordia is a point-and-click adventure game that "combines the challenge and depth of the classics with a streamlined interface and a player-friendly design: puzzles emphasize logical thinking and exploration, rather than trial and error or endless backtracking. The game will feature over fifty hand-drawn rooms to explore, dozens of characters and complex machines to interact with, and gorgeous painted cutscenes to soak in. And, as some might note, it features a sarcastic floating sidekick named Crispin."
Here's some story details for you: Ages have passed since legendary Man walked the planet. Now, in the desolate wastelands beyond the city of Metropol, a solitary robot named Horatio jealously guards his freedom and independence. All that is taken away from him when a marauding foe steals his power source, forcing him to leave the safety of his home and set out on a perilous journey into the wastes - and into his own mysterious past.
Primordia is set to release this Autumn. Wadjet excel at creating and backing sensational point & click adventure games, so we have high hopes for this one.
