And to think there was a point in time when we were worried about the direction the latest Hitman game was taking. Then we went to Gamescom and were blown away by the revelation of Contracts Mode. Here you’re free to edit levels and assign kills, time limits kill, order and other rules by simply playing through the level. Then upload it to the servers to see if anyone can beat your score or just play other people’s challenges. There are so many possibilities here, essentially extending the life of the game indefinitely after completing the solo campaign. Check out the trailer below for an extensive playthrough of the new mode from the developers. With this, Assassin’s Creed III, Dishonored and Splinter Cell: Blacklist we’ve never seen a brighter future for the stealth genre.
