Gameplay Demo Brings More Than A Few Cracked Skulls
We knew it was coming, and we knew it was going to be gritty, but we weren’t expecting it to be quite that brutal. Sony decided to close their press conference at this year’s E3 by giving us just over 7 minutes of in-game action from Naughty Dog’s next title The Last Of Us. We’ve got the whole thing after the jump.
As well as the intense melee and shooting action, we got to see the inventory system that will be in use, as lead character Joel created a Molotov Cocktail to take out some foes. The game promises to react to how players try to deal with each situation, be it taking hostages, attempting stealth takedowns, or foolishly go in all guns (or anything to hand that could cause some damage) blazing. We still do not have a concrete release date for this one, but regardless of when it does drop we’ll be sure to keep you informed of any further news to come out of E3.
