We've been wondering for months in what hideous form the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall might arrive. After all, everyone's kept very quiet on the subject, with Microsoft and EA deflecting questions on the last-gen version since we learned that it was even a thing.
But now, finally, in launch week, a few videos and a smattering of screenshots have emerged onto the net. And it actually looks rather smooth.
The clip above was uploaded by EliteXbox360Gaming over the weekend, and shows a battle on the Boneyard map. The framerate is clearly lower than the current versions, detail is a little scrappy here and there, and the player/bot count is down too, but it looks mightily playable indeed.
You can watch the Twitch livestream of Titanfall running on Xbox 360 right here, and here's another video, via Jan ChillOnXbox.
What do you reckon, folks? Rather than an ugly duckling, it looks like Titanfall 360 might have been kept out of the way so as not to steal the limelight from the Xbox One. Naturally, though, we'll have to wait until we can get the 360 version in our hands to truly make the comparison, and it releases this week on the 8th in America, and the 11th over here.
