We haven't seen a huge number of exclusives for either. Gonna be hard to call. And i don't think Nintendo is really in the running
Nobody won. Everybody lost. Especially the (gaming) consumer.
How the hell did everyone lose? 2011 was one of the best years ever for gaming... Arkham City, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Battlefield 3.. I could go on...
How can you say we didn't see that many exclusives on either side? Did everyone forget the onslaught of Sony titles this year? Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Infamous 2, Resistance 3, Motorstorm Apocalypse and Uncharted 3? Microsoft simply had their heavy hitters Gears of War 3 and Forza 4 enter the ring. If anything, this was one of Sony's biggest years ever since the PS3's release.
And the rest of the multiplat titles released even before this month were outstanding.
Did you guys forget Catherine, Portal 2, Deux Ex, Bulletstorm, Dark Souls, Dead Space 2, and L.A. Noire?
Just to throw a spanner in the works...on balance I'd say that EA probably won this year.
Which is deeply worrying.
