And The World Record Goes To . . . SWTOR!

We all know that Star Wars: The Old Republic is a pretty big game, but with 200,000 lines of dialogue provided by hundreds of voice actors, it's also grabbed the Guinness World Record for the Largest Entertainment Voice Over Project in history, which I'm sure you'll agree is impressive . . . most impressive (sorry, I couldn't resist!).

The award was accepted by BioWare Co-Founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zechuk in New York last month along with a copy of the Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer's Edition, which not only features the jaw dropping record but also a two page spread about Star Wars games dating back to 1982's The Empire Strikes Back.

Here in the UK we'll have to wait until January 19th to get hold of the Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer's Edition, which is currently available in the US and Australia.

Hmm I'm only level 31 but I don't think I will subscribe much longer :(

Too many things don't work correctly, or are too unbalanced.

They spent ALL those years developing it and they couldn't even implement the basics. That doesn't give me much hope.

I was wondering if I wanted to have a go at this... but hurrakan's comment combined with knowing what would happen if I subscribe to a MMO mean I think I will put that idea down.

I'm hoping that by the time I get around to buying it after pimping my rig in a month or two, some of those niggles will have been fixed.

Then again, I do need to eat and work and sleep...so I might put off buying it for a bit until someone invents a time wand.
