Last month, we brought you news that the eagerly anticipated Two Worlds II might not release in the UK. Originally, Game was set to be the only retailer of the medieval RPG, but a shipping problem intervened and TopWare essentially canceled the UK launch altogether. Then, late in February, a deal was finally struck between TopWare and Amazon, who agreed to ship the game to the UK on March 2nd. Well that date has come and gone, and we've had no signs yet of Two Worlds II reaching UK shores.
TopWare has since pushed the release date back to next Friday, the 11th. But with the vague shipping problems, the back and forth between retailers and now this missed release date, one might wonder if the UK will ever get to play Two Worlds II. Which is a pity, because two million US and European gamers have, and the response so far has been much better than the original, which was a divisive if successful enough experience to warrant a sequel.
You can count on us at Dealspwn to follow this news closely as it develops. And if any of you ordered Two Worlds II off Amazon and have yet to see it, we'd love to hear from you. TopWare has been contacted for a statement, but no response has been heard as of yet. [Eurogamer]
