FIFA 11 | Xbox 360

Xbox 360 4GB + Fifa 11 | £134.99 | eBay [Zavvi Outlet] | Xbox 360

Another eBay deal of the week here, and again it's from the Zavvi outlet, offering a limited number of Xbox 360 4GBs, bundled with Fifa 11, for just £134.99. It's a great price, as Fifa 11's strong grasp on the charts will mean its price will remain pretty high for a while, as EA look to scoop in as much profit as possible. The 4GB 360 is Microsoft's mass-market model, but the removal of a hard-drive in favour of flash memory does mean its incapable of running games like Halo Reach, or installing large amounts of data like films or games. But if you're just looking to purchase a 360 and a game for a relative or something familial like that, then this is a pretty good deal. The new 360's work well with Kinect, too, as the sensor doesn't require an extra power cable, instead plugging straight into the sleek, lacquered console's on-board port.

Who the heck writes these blogs, can't play Halo Reach on a 4gb arcade, this has to be the most retarded statement i've ever read in the history of interwebz

just wondering but is there a way to burn films onto the HDD? I have lots of films that I could stick on the HDD if you can do that

are you a member of Die Antwoord? Ninja is that you?

Nope, unfortunately Microsoft dont want you using your xbox HDD as an actual HDD like the PS3 does.

Your basically forced to sit there staring at the 200gb free space on the HDD while you stream your movies and music.

Agreed. The people who run this site really dont know a lot about the so called "deals" that they are actually posting.

And its well known that the Reach issue was down to Bungie, and they are fixing it.

I thought you couldnt play reach on a 4gb at the moment though (though I suppose if you add a flash you can)? Then if so whats wrong with the statement?

Jonathan Lester  Oct. 15, 2010 at 16:25

Here's the official line: You can't play Halo Reach's ONLINE CAMPAIGN CO-OP on a 4GB Arcade.

As Mick said above, Bungie are working on the problem.
