Xbox Live Deal Of The Week | Castlevania: Harmony Of Dealspair

I apologise unreservedly for the title. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Right, down to business. This week's Gold-only XBLA deal has an extremely tight focus this time around, and deals (sorry) primarily with Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair. In my 7/ 10 review, I praised its fantastic cooperative mechanics and persistent upgrade system- but pointed out that the experience is an unremitting grind in singleplayer. It's now been reduced to 600 Microsoft Points, which is a fair price for the content on offer. It's also a good time for established fans to grab the extra levels, but in our opinion, it's a shame that they haven't been packed into a bundle.

Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night is also down to a wallet-friendly 400 Microsoft Points.

As usual, click the links to head over to the marketplace - where Gold members will need to sign in to access the deals.

That sucks...was hoping for some good offers...not just for 1 game :(

You'd think that Microsoft would have been quick to slash the prices of their online shooters (Breach, Blacklight, Madballs: Babo etc) to take advantage of the Xbox Live upswing caused by the PSN debacle. Ho hum. Harmony Of Despair is still pretty sweet, mind.
