Xbox Live DOTW: Action Arcade! [Xbox 360 Games]

Another week, another deal and another great selection of games. Microsoft is thoroughly atoning for some of the atrocious deals that they've foisted on us in the past! As always, click the link to download the game or queue up the demo- though only Gold Members are legible for the special offers. Remember to log in to see the discount!

Mega Man 10 is Mega Man... again. Purists will love the nu-retro graphics, soundtrack and level design, and the easy mode allows even the rankest of amateurs to give it a go. Don't get me wrong though, the margin of error teeters on a knife edge and it's certainly not for casual gamers. 400 points is a great price and I highly recommend trying out the demo.

Afterburner Climax is a fantastic (if brief) rail shooter that has been scrubbed up beautifully for next-gen consoles. Have a look at our full review for the details- but suffice to say that it's one of the shiniest titles on XBLA to date. It may be short, but 400 MSP is a decent price for this one (that puts PSN to shame).

Scrap Metal is basically Micro Machines brought bang up to date with some great tracks and addictive gameplay. Our Micro Review has the major lowdown, but there's a huge amount of content for the taking.

Death by Cube is a another XBLA twinstick shooter... but don't hit the back button just yet. Its got some wickedly difficult levels and a clever dash mechanic that'll put even veteran gamers to the test.

Also note that Mass Effect's Bring Down the Sky expansion has been slashed to 80MSP. Well worth checking out if you're considering starting a new playthrough. Thanks to sm182 for the heads-up!
