Xbox Live Entertainment Apps Free To All This Weekend

Xbox Live Free members will be able to access a wide variety of entertainment apps this weekend, Microsoft has announced. 4OD, Demand 5, Sky and Netflix are among the unlocked applications, so it might be a good excuse to kick back in front of the telly. We've got a full list of the unlocked apps below, which will remain free from midday Friday 20th April to midday Monday 23rd.

Surely this will help "monetise" us ...

I said it befor and will say it again, I think I would only go gold again for 1 vs 100. I can get all the good stuff on my PS3 for free.

I'm on gold, but don't think I've used any premium service since November last year, when I stopped playing the last COD and had a quick try of the new one.
Played that for a day or two, and I've been on Youtube once, to check it out.


Was over the moon when I managed to get 36 months gold for £36 last year. Now it seems I'm paying for nothing...
