The Xbox Live Indie Games scene has suffered its share of setbacks and issues over the last few months, what with last year's disastrous dashboard debacle and the recent ratings manipulation scandal. However, we finally have some good news for the dedicated and hardworking community.
Microsoft have added a new feature to the peer review system that allows developers to manually choose a release date for their titles that automatically takes effect when their app passes review. This brings the system in line with the Windows Phone 7 app marketplace, and should help to avoid scheduling conflicts as well as putting an important element of control into developers' hands. Where it belongs, quite frankly.
