Xbox LIVE Marketplace Update: Deal of the Week, Sales & Specials

Microsoft have released the details for this fortnight's Xbox LIVE Marketplace updates, detailing the Deal of the Week, as well as the EA Publisher sale. Particularly worthy of note are the following deals:

Skulls of the Shogun and Special Forces Seal Team X form the double trouble of new releases over the next couple of weeks, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Need for Speed Most Wanted, and Cabela’s Hunting Expeditions hitting Games on Demand today.

I'll be purchasing Hydrophobia as soon as it's on sale. I bought it on Steam for £1 a while back and was pleasantly surprised by the game. Wasn't expecting it to be any good and was left wanting more at the end and feeling like my £1 was more than well spent. I'll be getting it on the 360 so I can pick up some achievements for it.

Be aware it's quite different. The original 1200 points Hydrophobia had a major overhaul after big problems & PR problems. Then it was updated (with a 4MB patch) to become Hydrophobia Pure and the price was cut to 400 points.

Later Hydrophobia Prophecy was another remake for PC and PS3 only with something like 70% new content including re-voicing some stuff. That will be the version you played on Steam.

Microsoft not allowing any update bigger than 4MB meant they were really limited with what they could do.

Bit late but thank for the warning but I bought it today anyway. I played the trial of the game when it was first released and the problems that turned me away from the trial very quickly have been fixed. I'm pretty happy with my purchase and the gameplay has been problem free.

The only issue is the voice acting. It's a lot better on the PC version but aside from that, so far it's pretty good.
